Logic PD, a product innovation and realization company for connected devices, announced today that it will be showcasing its new Blueprint Framework for Wireless Device Integration and Wearable Device development at the M2M Evolution Conference & Expo, to be held August 12-14, 2014, at The Rio in Las Vegas (booth 622).

“With Gartner predicting a 30-fold increase in Internet-connected physical devices by 2020, companies are looking for their solution to secure their spot in this growth market,” said Bruce DeWitt, CEO at Logic PD. “Our customers come to us to provide them with the resources, processes, and expertise required to be successful.”

Developed for specific applications, Logic PD’s Blueprint Frameworks help companies quickly develop integration strategies and products incorporating IoT technology through step-by-by step guidelines. Blueprint guides companies through the examination of pre-identified considerations and requirements that address the technology necessary to develop a cutting-edge solution and the specific needs of a custom device.

Wireless Communication Device Blueprint helps companies integrate wireless technology into their existing non-connected products. Logic PD customers will be able to extend the useful lifetimes of legacy equipment without having to perform significant capital expenditures to have a competitive infrastructure.

Wearable Devices Blueprint provides a development-ready foundation for products in the $70 billion wearable device market.
“Integration of IoT into existing products isn’t a simple task,” said Scott Nelson, chief technology officer. “Just like development of wearable devices, there are numerous pitfalls that companies can fall into. Through our Blueprint Frameworks, we enable companies to steam through the process faster and more effectively than if they were to undertake the project on their own.”

In addition to participating in the M2M expo, Nelson along with Logic PD Vice President of Marketing Jason Voiovich will be participating in panel discussion on some of the IoT’s most pressing topics. During the "The Role of the Integrator: Making Data Useful" discussion, Nelson along with other thought leaders on the topic will explore the challenges companies face in launching connected devices, and the important role solutions integrators play in a successful launch. Voiovich will participate in the panel discussion on "The Importance of Looking at Your Business Process in Deploying M2M - Data Relevancy."
