In this episode of PSDtv Omron Delta Tau explains their EtherCAT master demonstration for Power Systems Design, showing that their motor controller can speak to all EtherCat drives and all EtherCAT control blocks. The company also recently released their Motion Machine PC to enable the motion-control capabilities you need on hardware you already use. This new controller consists of a Linux- or Windows-based PC running a Soft Power PMAC kernel. The kernel offers all of the intelligence and capabilities of their latest Power PMAC controller.
