PSDcast are audio interviews on relevant topics to the power electronics industry and are conducted with subject matter experts from the power electronics industry, academic institutions and relevant industry associations.

In this PSDcast Karl Fleischmann of TI talks to Alix Paultre of Power Systems Design about USB Type-C development. Texas Instruments recently introduced a multiport USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) minidock reference design that provides audio, USB data, power and video support. This new TI Designs reference design can be powered by a traditional power adapter, USB Type-C adapter or notebook computer.
