Alliant Energy was selected for a grant of up to approximately $30 million from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) for a proposed 200-megawatt hour energy storage system. Alliant Energy’s director of engineering and customer solutions, Mike Bremel, joins us to detail this project.
