These two sizes correspond to the equivalent 5mm and 7mm disk MOV's offering protection for circuits with working voltages ranging from 11 Vrms to 300 Vrms. The PV Series varistors are UL recognized with the capability to handle up to 30J of energy and maximum surge current ratings up to 1200A. It is also flameproof per UL 94V-0.
The PV Series is ideal for various applications, including power supplies, LED lighting, telecommunications, home appliances, utility meters, controls, protection for detectors and sensors, and touch screens.
