    Richardson RFPD and Cree sign distribution deal on silicon carbide power products

    Richardson RFPD announced it has completed an agreement to distribute Silicon Carbide power products from Cree, a U.S.-based manufacturer that specializes in semiconductor products for power and radio-frequency (RF) applications, lighting-class LEDs and LED lighting solutions. Under the agreement, Richardson RFPD will only distribute Cree's SiC Schotty diodes, MOSFETs and power modules worldwide. "Cree is recognized globally as a leader in silicon carbide technology," stated Chris Marshall, vice president, Richardson RFPD. "Adding their capabilities to our energy and power products portfolio further solidifies our focus to support our customers who are seeking the most efficient solutions for their high power applications."
