    ROHM Semiconductor receives Bosch Supplier Award

    ROHM Semiconductor has been honored with the Bosch Global Supplier Award by Robert Bosch GmbH. ROHM received the prize in the "Electronics" category. In total, Bosch awarded 38 suppliers out of nine countries in five categories. This year, the technology and service company assigned the global supplier award for the thirteenth time. The prize is presented in recognition of outstanding performance in the manufacturing and delivery of products or services. "We are very pleased about this, it recognizes our continuous commitment in offering our customers latest, high-quality technologies in order to support their innovation efforts in power in the best possible way", said Christian André, President ROHM Semiconductor Europe. "The Bosch Global Supplier Award" is a show of appreciation, and is a motivation as well. We herewith honor the achievements of our best suppliers. And we want to encourage all others to provide top performance, as well", said Dr. Volkmar Denner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Bosch, at the occasion of the award ceremony in Stuttgart. The purchase volume of the Bosch Group amounted to 27 billion Euro in 2012. Purchased were mainly manufacturing materials such as electronics devices, mechanical and electromechanical components as well as plastic parts.
