    09/20/2016

RS Components, the trading brand of Electrocomponents, a distributor for engineers, has signed a distribution agreement with XP Power, a leading provider of AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters and DC to High Voltage DC converters, and now stocks around 2500 product lines from the manufacturer. As well as providing another supply source to the many existing users of XP Power products, the portfolio also provides a wide choice for engineers looking for innovative power solutions at the start of their design.

The new XP offering available via RS consists of a broad range of AC/DC power supply products from 5 Watts to 3000 Watts including: ITE and medical Level VI efficiency desktop and plug-in type external power supplies; http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/desktop-power-supply/1217102/ open-frame and enclosed-chassis-mounting power supplies; and encapsulated and open-frame PCB-mount power supplies. The range also offers DC/DC converters from 0.25 Watts to 60 Watts, including medically approved devices, solutions for railway applications, and switching regulators. Mounting options for the DC/DC converter ranges include SMD, through-hole and chassis mount.

The products meet the needs of a wide range of market sectors and applications, including healthcare, industrial, technology, avionics, and railway. With efficiencies as high as 95% and many of the products being the ‘world’s smallest’, the XP range offers engineers the very latest technologies in the smallest packages available.

XP products are designed to the highest quality and to operate in harsh environments, whilst retaining their competitive edge in the market.

“XP Power is a world-renowned brand for innovative power supply solutions,” said Steve Keep – Global Product Group Manager - EMECH at RS. “The company’s vast portfolio of AC/DC power supplies and DC/DC converters is a major addition to our offering that also fits very well with our target markets and delivers a whole new level of choice for our customers.”
