Stackpole’s PV Series SMD varistors offers superior voltage protection in a molded surface mount package. Ideally suited for LED drivers, the PV Series offers working voltages from 11Vrms to 300Vrms so it can handle any design based on 120VAC or 240VAC.
The PV is available in 3225 and 4032 chip sizes and is rated for up to 1200 amps of current and 30J of energy. The plastic molded case provides excellent protection from environmental hazards and the compliant terminations ensure reliable connection and operation under high temperature gradients or board flex.
