TransTech Systems, provider of identification systems, has signed a major distribution agreement with Convergence Systems to distribute that company's fixed and handheld RFID readers TransTech's ultra high frequency or UHF tracking projects in North America. Jerry Garrett, MD of Convergence Systems, stated, "TransTech has built a broad roster of well-known clients ranging from government agencies to luxurious travel destinations that seek the best in ID badging and access-control products. We believe this vast set of experiences, combined with our state-of-the art products, will provide these clients with the latest in RFID innovations." With its strategic relationship with Convergence Systems in place, TransTech now offers state-of-the-art automatic identification to national dealers and provides asset tracking, article surveillance, fixed and temporary inventory control, event and crowd management, and more.
