AC/DC power supply for operating temperatures from -40 to +80 °C
The new Cincon LFM750S AC/DC power supply series delivers 750 watts of power in an ultra-compact 1-inch low-profile design for demanding industrial applications and is available directly from stock at Bicker Elektronik.

Bicker Elektronik GmbH from Donauwoerth/Germany is expanding its portfolio of industrial power supply solutions with the new Cincon LFM750S AC/DC power supply series featuring an output of 750 watts. The series combines a particularly flat 1-inch housing with fanless baseplate conduction cooling and covers a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +80 °C. With an efficiency of up to 94% as well as a universal input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC (or 120 to 368 VDC) including active PFC and international safety approvals, the two models LFM750S120C (12 V) and LFM750S240C (24 V) are suitable for worldwide use across a variety of applications.

For reliable continuous industrial operation under extreme conditions

The LFM750S series is excellently suited for demanding industrial applications with high power requirements and simultaneously limited space. The robust construction enables reliable 24/7 continuous operation in the extended industrial temperature range of -40 to +80 °C. With an MTBF of up to 940,000 hours (according to Telcordia SR332), the new power supply series guarantees long-term constant performance and reliability, even under extreme conditions. Typical areas of application include automation, robotics, industrial PCs (IPC), vision systems, kiosk solutions, telecommunications, network technology, energy infrastructure, remotely operated vehicles as well as marine and offshore applications.

Certified according to international safety and EMC standards

The compact switching power supplies are tested and certified according to the safety standard IEC/EN/UL62368-1 Ed.3 and fulfil the requirements of protection classes I and II. In the area of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the devices also meet the highest requirements and are certified according to EN55032 and CISPR/FCC Class B. Furthermore, the series is designed according to the household appliance safety standard IEC/EN60335-1. For maximum operational safety and to protect the connected systems, the AC/DC power supplies feature continuous short-circuit protection as well as protective functions against overtemperature, overcurrent, and overvoltage. Depending on the overvoltage category (OVC), the devices are designed for operating altitudes of up to 2,000 m (OVC III) or 5,000 m (OVC II).

Highly efficient performance in a 1-inch low-profile design

With an output of 750 watts and an ultra-flat 1-inch installation height, the fanless LFM750S series offers a powerful power supply with a precisely regulated DC output voltage in the smallest of spaces. With a footprint of just 154.8 x 83.5 mm and a power density of up to 37.43 W/inch³, the series is one of the most compact solutions in its class – ideal for closed systems and applications in the smallest of spaces. The thermally optimised design with baseplate conduction cooling enables completely fanless operation, which not only reduces noise emissions but also extends the service life, as no mechanically wearing fan components are used. Depending on the type of cooling, the LFM750S120C and LFM750S240C models deliver up to 62.5 A (12 V) and 31.25 A (24 V) output current respectively.

Customised design-in consulting and first-class support

In addition to the two standard models with 12 V and 24 V available from stock, Bicker Elektronik also offers the LFM750S series upon request with other output voltages (15 V, 28 V, 30 V, 36 V, 48 V, 54 V) as well as in customised modified variants. With more than 30 years of experience, the team of the power supply specialist possesses comprehensive expertise in design-in as well as in the individual dimensioning and customisation of power supplies. Furthermore, suitable connection and cable assemblies can be provided upon request in order to further optimise the integration of the power supply into specific systems and applications.
